  UFO's what do the JW believe

  i ask that because i saw a flight of ufo's saturday morning.

  at apx 1100h.. im not going to go into lengthy descriptions at all i know what i saw.

  but what does the gb say about ufo's.. i ask as they think they are the most important thing in the universe thats all..

  I knew of an elder(now deceased) who was certain that he saw one, regardless of the WT's view. I suspect that JWs are like everyone else when it comes to UFOs. No one really believes unless they see one for themselves.

  i noticed in the "magic" thread many former jw's no longer adhere to the bible as the unerring and accurate word of god.

  if you feel this way, can you please list any specific reasons/arguments as to why not.

  It seems to me that this phrase "Jehovah does not like that" or "it makes Jehovah sad" is or will be the new buzz word for J W parents. It is so easy, when the kids ask "why can't I do that?"

  Isn't that just an extension of what the Old Testament was? Men inventing a tyrannical deity to enforce their own moral code. It was genius. No matter how silly the rule, it came from God, and therefore couldn't be questioned.

  Anyone else watch programming on BBC America?

  it's a detective show set in 1860's new york.

  i've been thinking about checking out some other programs advertised on the network..

  I've been meaning to check out Dr Who, because I'm a total scifi geek. But I remember watching episodes of the original series as a kid, and finding it extremely dull.
